“It is unfair that we laugh together, but you cry alone”.
This quote I read absolutely broke my heart because of its accuracy. This is what friends are, right, people you can be yourself with. How many of your friends can you unapologetically be around? Who are your friends that you can laugh with and cry with without feeling like you are annoying, or just there for convenience?
It is such a lonely feeling, knowing that there is no space for you. Visibly seeing that they will easily make time for their other friends, but be too busy and do not have enough time to spend any moment with you? You don’t just forget to just speak to someone who means something to you. That’s the difference between genuine love verse love of convenience. I get it, people love differently, but I think that’s a fatal flaw in humans. People who love hard, often feel the most unloved. I don’t think telling people you love them is overused because people need to know. I don’t think you could say I love you too much because who are we kidding, all anyone wants in life is to love and to be loved.
